Solid surface is an excellent choice for countertops in both the kitchen and bath areas. It is non-porous, stain resistant and prevents bacterial growth. With an under mount integral sink, there are no rims or ridges for build up of unwanted grime. The seams are inconspicuous, so your countertop will appear to be seamless. Since the color runs all the way through, marks and scratches can be removed easily to restore your counter to is original condition. Many of the products carry a ten year warranty, while a few provide a 15 year warranty.
Uses and Services There are many color options which allow for design flexibility. Some ideas are inlays in the front edge or top, custom edges and coved backsplashes. Just to name a few. Other uses for solid surface are shower walls, window sills, shelves, table tops, fireplace surrounds and custom furniture.
Also in our offering is quartz surfacing. Quartz products have the depth, brilliance and clarity of natural stone. Unlike granite, quartz does not need to be sealed or polished It is durable stain resistant and heat resistant. Quartz is clean and safe, no mold, mildew or bacteria growth. It is certified for food prepared areas by the NSF International, unlike granite which is not Quartz also carry a ten year warranty.
One other service by Solid Fabrications is solid surface renewal and repair. If your counter is showing some wear and tear, we can re-sand it to bring it back to its original beauty. Another case for solid surface, it is renewable.
